Thank you everyone who wished me happy birthday yesterday! I was intentionally staying present in my life and not on my phone. My mom is in town and I wanted to enjoy her company as well as enjoy my day with limited to no stressors. The delay before was a challenging one. We ate amazing food, watched a beautiful sunset, took the dogs to the dog park, talked to an attorney for the accident, got the rental while our jeep is being checked out and I got amazing beautiful flowers from my amazing and beautiful husband. Also got a beautiful necklace and earrings from my mom. It was a nice and relaxing day overall. You know, birthdays come and go every year and it allows reflection on life. Here I am, another year gone. Another year closer to the end of life. Did I live this last year week? Did I accomplish my goals for the year? Am I where I want to be at 46? I have to say, I am very blessed in a lot of ways in my life. I am married to the most amazing person I have wonderful kids I have supper awesome puppies (well Tucker is an awesome work in progress but he is smart and sweet when he is not being a savage or not listening when I call him him 😂) I get to wake up every day and make my own way without having to punch a time clock I get to work with awesome humans on things that mean a lot I have a pretty sweet trailer I have a nice townhome I get to cook amazing food for my family I can read books, watch movies and shows, write things, use my laptop when i want I get to work across the United states with limited barriers I get to visit the ocean and the mountains whenever I want The sun shines here most days of the year and some kind of flower is blooming always Although my body isn’t where I want it to be right now and a few other things I could put in better order, in my life, i could haveve more friends to spend time with, I am damn lucky and I love what I have built. It’s basically the things I wrote in my perfect day many years ago.

It was a beautiful Sunday If you are looking for something to do on a Sunday, head to the Point Loma farmers market! We went this morning and had such a nice time. Got breakfast, fresh Lumpia, and a bunch of other goodies pictured! We supported a military family business, a local Jerky maker, a freeze dried food local, some other SoCal location small businesses too. The Carolina Mustard sauce is so so good! Our little Tucker is barely having accidents in the house. He goes potty on the pads, even goes downstairs by the front door to go! We tried a little leash training today. He was a lil bucking bronco for a few then once he realized I had treats he calmed down and followed me. He still gets super hyper and spazy near Murph which of course our 7 year old dog doesn’t care for much. We are working on it 😂😂 He is half snapping turtle piranha after all. He slept pretty much through the night last night too which was awesome! I got him a Snuggle Puppy and it works wonders! OMG! It is Michaela and Michael’s Birthdays today! Happy birthday to you both!! Tomorrow I am going to be the me that works out not the me that sleeps in 😂😂😂 Have a great Sunday night 🫶🏻

What a wonderful weekend away. The campsite was so empty and for California, that was wonderful! We we first arrived, a wasp decided it didn’t like me being so close to the nest so I was stung right in the jugular! I don’t usually get bothered much by bee stings but this one was very painful! Lil jerk face. After we were set up, it was the most relaxing experience camping we have had to date. The weather was cool and the sun was warm. We had a great view of the lake, saw all kinds of wildlife. Who needs TVs or Phones when you can look out your window and see all the critters doing their things?? I am so grateful for the beauty we experienced and the calming nature vibes. I hope every camping experience going forward is as wonderful as this one was. Now back to crushing life and building my life exactly how I want it! 💙

The last 7 days were pretty epic. Camping in our new camper, getting a feel for how everything works and being in nature was super amazing. First day of Middle school for Hailey (although she was with her mom and her mom didn’t take any photos), Twins Padres games with Miranda and Steve, lunch with Chi who I adore, a door knocking workshop on the 34th floor downtown with sweeping views of the city and the bay, a baby dove leaving the nest and hanging out by my office window for a while, workouts and hummingbirds bathing in a fountain, lots of reading, meditation, learning and good conversations a beach sunset with my puppy watching him play, and last night a concert and Tacos El Gordo adobada… omg so amazing you have to try them! I am blessed and even though I still have challenges in my life, life’s pretty amazing. I have friends, family and a husband who love me and I live in a beautiful place surrounded by beautiful nature. 💙💙💙

Last week was super fun! Day at the beach first which is something we haven’t done in a couple months! (Crazy we live in a beach town and don’t get to the beach much lol) Then Mall of America, Wisconsin Dells, Minnehaha Falls and the sculpture garden. Was a great 6 days! June was an all over the place month! Let me tell you!! A surprise visit to my hometown for a graduation, a week later I was back to tend to my son after he was in an accident that was super scary, then a week later Father’s Day at Foodieland, my honeymoon in Mexico💙, and topped it off with the 4th of July at the river! Whirlwind! Loving life! I feel blessed to be able to have traveled to MN to take time to do all these things in one month and my businesses still function. I have awesome employees, and team members building out their incomes alongside me which helps me out with income when I’m not able to work for a couple weeks.

Sometimes in your adult life you come across a person who you know is meant to light you up, a soulmate. Soulmates come in all kinds of forms, not just in the romantic setting, but when you meet this person randomly one day, you just know that they will be an important part of your life going forward. I am honored to have one of those people come into my life a couple years ago and she refreshes my connection to her every time we see each other, talk to each other or any time I think of her. I got this beautiful note in the mail from her because she understood that I was going through a month. She just wanted to send me a small note letting me know she was thinking of me through all the ups and downs I have had this month. Sending notes is definitely a lost art in this world but these small little gestures to let someone know they care about you and were thinking about you. It’s been a wonderful weekend filled with friends and family in my hometown. As much as I love visiting Minnesota, and seeing everyone, I am always full of excitement to get back to my home in San Diego. Such a great feeling to love where you live. I remember when I used to vacation in other locations, I would be so irritated that I had to go home to snow and cold. It would make me sad and angry. I guess that is the reason I knew I was meant for another location for living. There are many things I do miss about being in Minnesota. Campfires, summer lake time, the green scenery, the thunderstorms, good friend circles, family dinners, the countryside, etc I realize however that even though San Diego County is huge, it doesn’t take me nearly as long to travel from one location to the next. I get most places in 25 min or less and it really doesn’t feel like it takes me as long because the trips are filled with houses and buildings and such. When I was traveling around this past weekend, it felt like it took forever to get anywhere even though the time frame is relatively the same. There is also a difference in the residents of San Diego vs Minneapolis. Behaviors, mannerisms. I have been away long enough to appreciate where I came from and where I’m at. It’s a very interesting perspective. Anyway I am so proud of my niece Lauren for graduating high school and turning into such a sweet beautiful lady. I got to see her graduate, spend time with my son my mom and my brother, visit my good friend Greg whom I haven’t seen in many years and get some delicious imports to take home with me, I went to my cousin’s wedding reception and saw all of my dad’s side of the family, visit my dad’s grave and have a moment with him, shopped a little, got delicious Caribou coffee drinks and beans, went out to the bar and listened to live music with my best friends and my son,and eat some quick tacos before heading back to the airport. My body and brain are tired but my heart is full 😂😂😂 Now I get to go home and see my husband and my puppies and crash on my new couch!! 💙💙💙💙💙💙

I have been on a health and wellness lifestyle kick for the last couple of years (well really my entire adult life but more targeted over the last 5 yrs) due to the fact that I want to age gracefully. I don’t want to look and feel like I’m 90 when I am 60. Healthy lifestyle has helped with sleeping, wrinkles, reduced inflammation, reduced achy joints, and more sustainable energy. I have fallen off the solid routine ever since my wedding. We got sick, I hurt my back, my other issues have flared and I hadn’t felt super great overall. I have been working on scaling my routine back up so I can be in optimal health again. I track my sleep also. I have noticed shifts in my sleep vitals. When I drink alcohol, my heart increases by at least 10 beats per minute and my restful sleep goes down quite a bit. In the phase of not going to the gym, my sleeping HR went from 62 63 beats per minute to 69 -73. I have been using phototherapy technology for the past 3 weeks. It has helped curb some of the issues that I have been dealing with from not prioritizing health. I have more stamina during workouts, I typically sleep much better and have better sleep stats (unless I eat like a jerk the day before, it can’t help that lol) I am also clearer in my thoughts and am able to focus on the tasks I need to accomplish through the day. I’m loving this new product. I have to try the others now! This was only one thing out of the full lineup! I’m doing this with a couple new friends and they are loving it too! Helps with accountability and for social proof that these things actually work, and that it’s not just in my head 😂😂 Steve has been using them also! And it was a lot longer between shoulder flare ups! I’m stoked. Any way I hope you all have a wonderful weekend surrounded by loved ones and the spirit of loved ones lost! Over the years of our relationship, we have thrived through experiences and situations that would likely tear other relationships apart, but not us. We are stronger as a couple every single day. I just found out that Feb 29th is rare disease awareness day because leap years are rare! If you didn’t know, my son has a rare syndrome called Traf7. It is a mutation of the Epigenome that causes the signals in the cells to not transmit right resulting in body malformation. There are only about 100 people to date, in the world, that have this. My son is unique and wonderful and I wouldn’t have him any other way 🥰

This is something to think about: People think money will make them feel about themselves, the way they feel about other people with money. That usually doesn’t come to fruition however, because once someone achieves the level that they were desiring in the person with money, they way they feel about themselves doesn’t change. Another great day in 2024! Moved mostly out of my office into my new digs. Also saw the new office that my partners are going to build out in the coming months. Super stoked about that.
